General Spa Information

Following is information that will help us better serve you and help you better prepare for your visit. If you should have any questions, please contact the spa or speak to one of our spa coordinators.

Appointment Reservations & Scheduling
To guarantee the time and therapist of your choice, please schedule your next appointment(s) as you leave.  We do accept appointment reservations on a daily basis if there is availability.

Unless you request otherwise, we confirm appointments 24-48 hours in advance. Please provide us with a phone number for appointment confirmation.

Sometimes we all need a change. Should you decide to try a different therapist, an explanation is not necessary. We will accommodate you and our therapists will understand. We work as a team at Dancing Leaf Spa & Salon and our goal is to provide a comfortable experience for our guests.

All pricing, services and hours of operation are subject to change without notification.

Group Events
We provide a beautiful, relaxing spa environment that can also accommodate many group events such as corporate meetings, wedding, birthday or makeover parties, or any relaxing get together. We offer a small meeting room for lectures, makeovers, lunch/dinner or we will gladly design a buffet area. You may select from a variety of spa packages, spa rental or a la carte arrangements. Please contact our group events coordinator for more information.

Early Arrival
Our scheduling is designed to permit the time needed to complete your services. Please help us by arriving 10 - 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to allow for check-in, consultation and changing.

Late Arrival
Your time is valuable. If you wait more than 10 minutes, please inform one of our spa coordinators. Although our goal is to be on time, service needs may vary from guest to guest; therefore, we will occasionally experience delays. To keep those to a minimum, we may need to shorten an appointment or reschedule an appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late. If your appointment is shortened or rescheduled due to late arrival, the full service price will still be charged.

Your privacy will always be respected during a service. You will be draped or covered during all treatments. We also provide disposable undergarments for your privacy. If you wish, undergarments are not necessary.

We have robes and spa sandals available for use in between your spa services. Please feel free to wear them throughout the entire spa.

You are welcome to wear make-up, but it will be removed during certain services such as facials. We provide private and public areas for you to re-apply your make-up following your services.

If you are pregnant, please notify our spa coordinator when scheduling your appointment. This allows us to schedule the appropriate appointments during your pregnancy.

Please let your therapist know at any time of adjustment requests such as the lighting, music or pressure. Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us.

We require a credit card for appointments that involve three or more services or group events. The credit card will be charged for all scheduled appointments under the following events:
- There will be a charge for 50 percent of all scheduled appointments if cancelled or rescheduled without a 48 hours notice.
- There will be a 100 percent charge for guests who cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice or who do not cancel. This charge will apply to each appointment scheduled.

Children/Age Requirement
In consideration of your child’s safety and the comfort of all our guests, we require that children are allowed in the spa only when receiving services themselves. We require adult supervision and/or signed consent to perform any spa services on any guest under the age of 18.

To ensure the ultimate spa escape for all guests, please refrain from bringing cell phones, pagers and laptop computers to the spa. A safe, quiet and relaxing environment is necessary in providing a true spa experience for our guests.

Due to the nature of our services, we do not serve alcohol. For groups, you may bring your own alcoholic beverages. If you choose to consume alcoholic beverages, Dancing Leaf Spa & Salon cannot be held liable for any guest under the influence of alcohol prior, during and after their services at the spa. Also, we ask that every guest assist us in maintaining a peaceful spa environment for all our guests to enjoy. The spa is a non-smoking facility.

Personal Belongings
Please do not bring jewelry to the spa as we do not have safes available to secure these valuables.
We regret that we cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal articles, including clothing.

Special Needs
All areas of our spa are easily accessible to disabled persons. Please let us know in advance if we can help make your visit more comfortable.

Payment Options
In addition to Dancing Leaf Spa & Salon Gift Cards, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash. We accept North Carolina checks only with a valid drivers license, address and phone number.

Our goal is to make you happy. If you are not pleased with a service, please let us know within 48 hours. We will reschedule a complimentary appointment with the same or a different therapist. We will only guarantee a service if the suggested home care regime is followed. No cash refunds are given.

We offer a variety of well-researched home care products. If you are not satisfied with a product, please let us know within three days and we will recommend a different product or offer a spa credit. We cannot accept returns if more than one-fourth of the product has been used. No cast refunds are given.

Gift Certificates
Our gift certificates do not have an expiration date. Gift certificates are provided in a monetary amount that may be used towards any spa service and/or products. No cash refunds or credit will be given on gift certificates. We will transfer a gift certificate with the owner’s permission. We regret we cannot replace gift certificates if they are lost or stolen.
